Our Community Supporters Thank You!
The Rec has been blessed to be a recipient for the past two years of annual giving from NAL. In 2016, donations were used for much needed capital improvements in our front gymnasium – mainly in the update and reconfiguration of our overhead lighting system, as well as a complete gym paint job, adding much needed fresh colors.
Our members and guests are reminded of this generosity every time they enter the “North American Lighting Gymnasium” at The Rec Center.
Many North American Lighting employees have participated individually in our adult Rec sports and volunteered personally as coaches and assistants for youth basketball, soccer and t-ball. North American Lighting is also an annual Corporate Business Member. Truly a business to be celebrated and appreciated, The Rec Center is grateful for the ongoing support of North American Lighting!
Fitness Equipment
Donations were used for the addition of needed fitness equipment, including a StairMaster Stepmill, a Cybex plate loaded Hack Squat machine, a television for our upstairs fitness studio for individual workouts, along with small equipment for our fitness center and studio (slam balls, pre-weighted bars, medicine balls, jump ropes, conditioning rope, kettle bells and more dumb bells for class use).
